The event was good, exactly what I needed. I've been feeling a bit stuck with my photography and needed an excuse to get out and change things up to try something different. I like that the meetup was relaxed and flexible and didn't try to force people into doing one thing or another, people could follow whatever creative inspiration they had at the time. It was also good timing to be shooting in the two hours before sunset, definitely the best time to be out shooting with a nifty fifty.

Loved it! I was great to join a group of likeminded photographers and the instructor was really helpful making useful suggestions and assisting where he could. It felt like a safe way to get out in public and take photos.

After several weeks with not so many people in campus, this week campus have been thrive again! Glad so may people come back to campus. When I walked to my car in that arvo, I just stunned with the golden sunset on the bridge. Grabbed my 50mm, and waited for the opportunity of somebody crossing the bridge. This moment almost impossible in the summer break when no one's around. The moment meet the opportunity meet the fifty, and viola!

Captured on a whimsical afternoon, this photograph embodies a fleeting moment where nature's artistry dramatically highlights human ingenuity. Amidst a canvas of brooding clouds, a rare beam of sunlight breaks through, spotlighting a curvaceous building's facade, transforming it into a spectacle of light and shadow. This interplay accentuates the structure's fluid design, creating a stark contrast against the subdued sky. This scene, a serendipitous blend of architectural elegance and natural lu

While passing by the building one afternoon, I was struck by the captivating interplay of light and shadow. The sun, positioned just right in the sky, cast a diagonal shadow that added a layer of depth and interest to the scene. Notably, a solitary bench was situated precisely at the junction where the light met the shadow, creating a compelling contrast and adding an intriguing element to the composition. This serendipitous alignment of natural light and urban elements lent the photo an unexpec

As a deep space photographer, I like to take photos of outer space targets that our eyes cannot see. These photos require a lot of patience and a lot of clear nights reason why my telescopes are working almost every night when it isn't cloudy. Astrophotography is very different from all the other types of photography, a single photo sometimes requires tens of hours under the clear night sky but the result is very satisfying. In this photo, I would like to present to you the California Nebula

This is part of a huge street art display, a real gem in Leeds. I loved the different displays of hands walking, creates a real sense of movement and intrigue. Photo was taken around 11am.
